It is a member of the European Group of Training Centres, the EEIG joint effort based in Berlin and a member of the Network A. It provides professional training services in Informatics, Economics, Tourist Services and Technical Professions.

The objectives of the Integration Vocational Training Centre

Within the framework of approved programs, the Integration Vocational Training Centre will focus in the training of unemployed and employed individuals in the private sector, as well as that of socially excluded groups.
They will co-operate with 180 enterprises at whose premises the practical specialisation of approximately 900 people will take place. In addition they will develop activities to mediate and promote the entrance of these people into the labor market.

Migrants in Greece

Migrants in Greece is an Online Observatory focusing on migrant and refugee issues. Developed by the Lambrakis Research Foundation in cooperation with its partners from the Equal Project Forum for Social Cohesion, the observatory provides a wide selection of practical information and background documentation. Their website expect to be of interest not only to migrant communities and refugee groups, but also to anyone with an interest in immigration to Greece (NGOs, journalists, researchers, lawyers, students, local administrators, government employees etc).
What is the Forum for Social Cohesion? The Equal Project Forum for Social Cohesion aims at combating racism and xenophobia while at the same time laying the ground for the balanced growth of a multicultural society in Greece. The project’s top priorities are:

a) the integration of migrants and refugees into Greek society and the labour market;
b) the sensitization to migrants’ problems of Greek employers, opinion-makers and the public at large;
c) the rejection of racist stereotypes.
