The speech illustrates the main modalities of delocalisation: the trade delocalisation and the productive delocalisation. The second one involves the transfer of the firm in another country. The typical manufacturing industries of the Veneto Region is delocalisating in toto because it is not possible to separate the moment of ideation from the moment of realisation of the product. For this reason the textile sector is disappearing in the Veneto region and it is necessary to organize this process training managers with new professional skills.

The study refers to the years 2000-2003 and underlines that in Veneto 5% of immigrants are leading enterprises and there are 4,5% entrepreneurs coming from countries extra UE, especially from Switzerland, ex Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Morocco and China.
